Context:
Eixo is an artistic residency startup based in Mosteiró, a small town near Porto, in Portugal. Its principle is to act as a cultural center besides Porto and Lisbon, promoting residences and activities with the community with restricted access to major cultural events. The project, led by Isabel Costa, was included in Start-Up Voucher Portugal 2020 program and was selected in TEH Startup Support Programme.Challenge:
Create an identity that would appeal to contemporary artists worldwide and the local community.
Graphic Solution:
Starting with a brand sprint, we define a brand personality, and after some studies, the mushroom colony emerged as an unusual element that refers to creativity and collective construction. It is at the same time a modern and rustic element. We choose warm colors to give a cozy atmosphere to the place that is supposed to host artists and the local community.
